内容紹介 ’The Greatest Video Game Music，’ a collection of 21 themes from the most beloved video games of our time as interpreted in the studio by the famed London Philharmonic Orchestra， will be available November 8 digitally and November 15 on CD (X5 Music Group). This music， as arranged for a top-flight orchestra， provides total immersion into the worlds of the 300-million-downloads-and-counting 羨ngry Birds，・classics like ’The Legend of Zelda，’ ’Final Fantasy，’ and ’Super Mario Bros，’ and recent blockbusters ’Halo，’ ’World of Warcraft’ and ’Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.・The set was arranged and conducted by the esteemed Andrew Skeet， who transformed some of the simplest sets of analog bleeps into sweeping， nostalgia-inducing performances. Marking the first time game music has been recorded in the studio by a top-rank orchestra， ’The Greatest Video Game Music’ includes exclusive versions of the ’007: Blood Stone’ and ’Dead Space’ themes， as well as the first recording by a philharmonic orchestra of the ’Angry Birds’ theme. Of the recording， ’Angry Birds’ composer Ari Pulkkinens said， 典his is the first orchestral version of one of my compositions and it really comes alive. It has such a great depth and a majestic touch， and it was very emotional for me when I heard it the first time. I love it!?
