Album Description Mondo Grosso (aka Shinichi Osawa) has been at the helm of the club scene not only in Japan but across the globe as well. He solidified himself as a hitmaker through his first and self-titled album on Sony back in 1993. From there he started producing such prolific artists as the revered chanteuse， Monday Michiru. Due to the exceptional relationship that he developed over the years with King Street， he was the next logical choice to compile its critically acclaimed Mix The Vibe CD series. The most characteristic element about this particular Mix the Vibe project is what Shinichi calls a ?re-groove? or his unique style of re-editing tracks. He did this with past releases such as， ?I Hear the Music? by Ralphi Rosario， Boyd Jarvis- ?Don-t Deny Love?， and， of course， the Mondo Grosso classic， ?Souffles H?. This technique has enabled him to fit his personal vision and concept that best suits this compilation. A result of his open-mindedness to incorporate a variable of contemporary styles from 2-Step， Jazz， Latin， Soul， to the more traditional New Wave and House varieties， helps create a genre that is quintessentially Mondo Grosso.
