ブルー・シックスことジェイ・デニスとゲストミュージシャンたちは、デビュー・アルバムである本作のリリース以前から、奥深さときめ細かさを持った最高にソウルフルなハウス・ミュージックを作りだして圧倒的な評判を得てきた。

Blue Six--aka Jay Denes and guests--have built up a formidable reputation for crafting deep， textured and eminently soulful house music even before the release of Beautiful Tomorrow， the collective’s debut. Their consistently seductive productions have built up an almost cultish following among house fans who yearn for something a little deeper than traditional four to the floor club fare. Denes not only produced and engineered this debut long player， but he also wrote the songs and the lyrics. With the help of guests like multi-instrumentalist Mark Anthony Jones and bassist Dave Boonshoft， as well as an assortment of vocalists (six in total--all female)， he has created the kind of sophisticated and luscious LP that we would expect. The singers range from the sultry to the seductive but all manage to complement the melodic and textured productions in one way or another， and alongside new tracks are previously unreleased dub versions of well known tracks like ?Music & Wine?， ?Pure? and ?Grace?. The pitter-patter drum-beats， gentle guitar plucks， smooth bass and gentle propulsion of these tracks makes for a wonderful aura of well-being and optimism， and will no doubt have you joining the Blue Six fan club.
